Dutch people travel a lot to foreign countries. We almost have to, as the Netherlands is a small country where by driving more than 300 kilometers you will be crossing a border. The Dutch are adventurous as well, which makes us very travel-minded people. Wherever you go on this planet, there is a slight chance that you'll meet travellers from the Netherlands. But, as we often forget, there are still a lot of beautiful places in our own country which are not to be missed. Sometimes, when a Dutch person travels far away into the jungles, deserts and mountains of remote countries, nostalgic images of his home country flash through his mind.
