Pure Tunisia

The image people have of Tunisia, is a country full of fat package tourists, plush resort hotels along the beaches, annoying souvenir salesmen and lots of camels. For a part this is true, but there's a lot more than that. Of course there are camels, lots of them, but there are also endless deserts, beautiful oases, pittoresque Arabic medinas from times long gone and a lot of pure, friendly Tunisians. People whose intention is not to sell unwanted souvenirs or camel trips, but whose sole purpose is to enrich their visitors with a taste of what is called the pure Tunisia. I visited this tolerant African country in November 2002. Come along and enjoy the pictures in this Tunisia Photo Gallery.
